The efficient Ecoperla Hydrotower water aeration system combines effective aeration with a compact design. It serves as a preliminary water treatment stage, preparing the water for further filtration, for example using iron removal media, while ensuring maximum oxygenation.

GET TO KNOW ECOPERLA HYDROTOWER

Ecoperla Hydrotower consists of an epoxy pressure vessel fitted with an aeration head. The aeration process oxidises iron from Fe(II) to Fe(III) and manganese from Mn(II) to Mn(IV). Once precipitated, the insoluble compounds of these metals can be removed during subsequent water treatment stages. The reduction of dissolved carbon dioxide (CO₂) increases the water’s pH, which improves the efficiency of iron and manganese removal. The gas exchange process also helps eliminate undesirable compounds such as hydrogen sulphide and methane, which negatively affect the organoleptic properties of the water, particularly its odour. The unit is available in three sizes.

ECOPERLA HYDROTOWER VALVE TYPE

The use of a head equipped with an air vent valve significantly improves the operation of the water aeration system.

Its main function is to effectively remove excess air and gases accumulating in the system. This prevents the formation of air pockets that could disrupt the proper flow of water.

Thanks to automatic air release, the system operates more reliably and the water treatment process becomes more efficient.

The head also helps maintain optimal conditions for the oxidation of iron and manganese, increasing the effectiveness of iron and manganese removal processes.

An additional benefit is the reduced risk of corrosion affecting system components.
